Our documented-fit rubric, sources, and the limits of editorial ratings.
Three dimensions, equally weighted
Usefulness: how clearly the documented features serve the intended task. Ease of starting: the setup, account, and hardware burden. Free access: how much the documented free offering covers, including feature and licensing limits. Each dimension is rated 1–5; we display the mean rounded to one decimal.
What the score does not measure
Scores are a first editorial assessment on October 19, 2026 using the official sources linked on each tool page. Older source-check dates remain visible. They are not user ratings, output-quality benchmarks, or a claim of full hands-on testing. We do not sell rankings. Scores can change when sources or editorial judgment change.
