Copy free AI video prompts for products, landscapes, and animation. Build a text-to-video or image-to-video shot with clear action, camera motion, and continuity.
Write the motion, not just the picture
An AI video prompt describes a shot over time: who or what is visible, what moves, how the camera behaves, and what stays consistent. Start with one action and one camera move. Copy an original template below or customize it in the free builder.

AI video prompt builder
Choose a template and edit the shot. Changing the template or input mode replaces your entries. This builder assembles text in your browser; it does not upload an image, save your entries, or generate a video.
Review the shot, then paste it into your chosen video tool.
Set supported duration, aspect ratio, resolution, and audio options in the video tool. Writing “8 seconds” or “4K” in a prompt does not guarantee that output.
Text to video or image to video?
Text to video: describe the starting scene
Name the subject, setting, action, framing, light, and style. A subject walking forward is different from the camera moving forward; state each separately.
Image to video: describe what changes
Use a supported reference-image workflow. Let the image establish appearance and composition, then focus the text on motion and continuity. Start with subtle movement if preserving a product or layout matters.
Try, inspect, change one thing
Choose a video-generation feature and confirm its inputs, access, credits, and export rules. Free prompt text does not include free generation credits.
Pick one short shot. Set the available output controls, attach an image if needed, and run the prompt in that service.
Watch the whole clip and compare the first, middle, and last frames. Check object shape, identity, lighting, camera direction, and action timing.
Keep the working parts and change one variable. For a longer story, plan separate shots and assemble them in an editor.
Fix common video-prompt problems
Too much motion or a drifting product
Try a fixed camera and one small scene action. Describe the desired stable state positively, such as “the bottle remains upright.” Recheck the actual frames; preservation wording is not a lock.
Wrong timing, text, or audio
Reduce the action to a simple beginning and end. Put precise captions and final audio in an editor when needed. Only request native audio where the selected model supports it; keep dialogue brief and label speakers.
